Community Carol Concert

On Sunday 4th December 2016 , 15 children from our Choir and Recorder Group attended the Willesborough Community Carol Concert. We were welcomed by David Worsley and the Mayor Cllr. George Koowaree at the South Willesborough & Newtown Community Carol Service.

After the opening prayers and First Carol, Mrs MacCormack (Lapwings Teacher) was invited to give the first Bible Reading (Luke 1.26-38). Afterwards our Recorder Group recited Good King Wenceslas and Mary had a baby.

Then our Choir, led by Mrs Hobbs – Coulson performed 3 songs, No Room at the Inn, Over two thousand years ago and Unto us a child is born. Everyone gave such a fantastic performance and should be very proud of themselves. There were a lot of comments from people in the audience as to just how smart our pupils looked and how they gave the performances their very best.
