School Dinners - End of Year Process

Dear all

 We are fast approaching the end of term and this academic year, with this in mind I thought it beneficial to let you the end of year process and answer some questions I know will be asked, these are listed below. I have also listed the information we will require by the first day of term or before if you would like us to be able to update the system ready for the beginning of term.

End of term Q&A / Actions

1.       Parents should be encouraged to only load onto their child’s accounts the amount needed for meals till the end of term.

2.       Any balances on accounts will be rolled over to the new term and will not be lost.

3.       If a child is in year 6, any balance left on the account can be refunded or passed to a sibling in the same school. The parent will need to complete the attached form (Refund Form, or download from https://meals.caterlinkltd.co.uk/meals/sign_in) and send to Caterlink using the details at the top of the form. At the end of term we will process any transfers or credits. This will happen w/c 31st July.

4.       Any pupil leaving in other years will need to follow the same process as in point 3.

5.       Pupils in Nursery who have balances on their account but will be entitled to UIFSM from September will need to follow the same process as point 3, or the balance can stay on their accounts and be used once they enter Year 3

6.       All meals will need to be entered on to the system by Friday 28th July, after this time we will freeze the accounts and any amendments will need to be emailed to meals@caterlinkltd.co.uk

7.       If a pupil is moving schools please let us know where they are moving to if they are a Caterlink School and we will transfer their account ready for September.

8.   Any new pupil entering the school in Years 3-6 will need to request a letter from the school office with the information required to set up a new account.
